I discovered Tiberino one-pot meals many years ago. I saw them in an Italian Deli grocery section while waiting for my sandwich. I thought they looked interesting and bought a few. The package contains the pasta and seasonings in one package. Each package has suggestions for adding ingredients and also a wine pairing. They are so easy to make. I always break the pasta apart a few times while the package is sealed. This helps if you are using a small pot and it also gets the seasoning away from the plastic. I’ve had a few where the seasoning would “stick” to the plastic and when you’re trying to dump the pasta in the pot along with the spices, it gets a bit difficult.
We just did a cross country RV trip, California to Florida and back, and I packed a few of these one-pot meals. We had to hunker down one night due to a storm so I pan cooked some Italian sausages, cooked my one-pot Tiberino meal, and added them together for a really delicious dinner. There are so many varieties of these meals, I’m sure you will find one or two or even three you will like. The nice thing is, they take up very little space and you just need water and oil to make.
Here are some links to the many different varieties for sale on Amazon (I’m an affiliate to help offset website costs). And this is not a paid post by Tiberino, I just thought I would share!
There are so many to choose from! Linguine, Spaghetti, Cavatelli, Risotto, Orecchiette and more! I’ve made some and added shrimp and that was very tasty. What I like about these the most .. well two things .. they don’t take up much space and they are easy to make!
If you make one and enjoy it, share your pairings!
