LOOKING FOR A CAMPSITE?
There are SO many campsite choices! State Parks, National Parks, Privately owned RV Parks or how about camping in a vineyard, on a farm or in someone’s driveway? So many choices!
Private Campgrounds and RV Parks can also be found by searching online maps like Google Maps. Just type in “name of city + RV Parks” or “name of city + Campgrounds”. Many choices show up on the map. Now it comes to a little investigating to see if that campground is right for you. How do you know? Check ratings, comments, reviews etc.. But … take some reviews with a grain of salt. We’ve camped in a few campgrounds that had a few bad reviews and we didn’t have any issues. So read through the good and bad and try not to get to overwhelmed by it all.
Maybe an RV Group is right for you! There are some listed below. Members can share where they’ve camped and their experience. We have some of our camping trips here on the site. If you have any questions on any of our trips or where we’ve stayed please let me know.
If you would like to stay in a State Park, be aware that some campgrounds book out six months in advance. Plan ahead! I’ve written a How-To for getting campground availability notifications through Reserve America – see link below in that section.
