Before Pinterest and the internet, we had books. My Mom was a Girl Scout and in her handbook, which she dated 1946, it teaches you how to create and cook on a tin can stove!
Now, years later, people are “pinning” these finds on their Pinterest boards!

All kinds of gadgets you can make with sticks. I like the diagrams showing how to use branches to hold the pots over the fire.
It might not be a bad idea to buy yourself a Girl Scout handbook or Boy Scout handbook to hang on to in case of emergencies! And .. of course a few tin cans!
