My preference is 1000 pieces but if the puzzle is cute enough, I will buy a 500 piece. I’m working on a new (old) puzzle right now. Super cute. I found it at my local library book store for $3.00. It said all the pieces were counted. I won’t know for sure until I finish it, but $3.00 is such a bargain!
