CAPITAL REEF – Day 6 of our Utah Trip
On day 6 of our Utah trip we headed to Captial Reef. We had debated making the 1 1/2 hour drive (one way) to see it, but we are SO GLAD WE DID !! It was so beautiful. As we couldn’t hike down to the canyons of Bryce Canyon (my husband just had a knee replacement), in this park you are at the bottom! One of my favorites was the Egyptian Temple.

LOCATION
This is a part of Highway 12. Everyone stops to take a picture. You must see it in person to get the full effect! It is called Heads of the Rocks Overlook. Link to information on the US Bureau of Land Management and the Historical Marker Database
