Pros about this campground – Nice place to take a kayak and fish or shore fish. Nice place off season.
Cons about this campground – no Camp Host. We have had on a few occasions, horrible campers near by. Loud music, Rap with lyrics not suitable for small children, yelling and fighting. No rangers are nearby. They make rounds once a night. If you go during the busy summer periods, be ready for anything.
Wildlife – Check out the Bobcat that greeted us on arrival!
You can walk down to the lake from the campground. We followed the trail that is behind campsites 74 – see map above.
