Campground Information - Campsite Photos - Information– Lake Cahuilla Recreation area is a 710 acre park located at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains 6 miles South East of Old Town La Quinta. This is an informaton page with photos, maps, brochures and more.
Lake Cahuilla Campground offers 91 individual and group campsites. The area offers fishing in the 135 acre lake, hiking and horseback riding, swimming in a recreation pool, picnic areas for bbq’ing and hosting family events.. Pros about this campground – We camped at here while attending a local BBQ Contest. It was very quiet the month we went (October) and not very many campers.
Cons about this campground – It was very windy when we were there.
