On a recent camping trip to Silverwood Lake, we drove the campground and made a list of our favorite sites –
6, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 50, 51, 52, 53, 55, 56, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 72, 73, 74, 77, 78, 79, 80, 85, 95.

Pros about this campground – Nice place to take a kayak and fish or shore fish. Nice place off season.

Cons about this campground – no Camp Host.  We have had on a few occasions, horrible campers near by.  Loud music, Rap with lyrics not suitable for small children, yelling and fighting.  No rangers are nearby.  They make rounds once a night.  If you go during the busy summer periods, be ready for anything.

Wildlife – Check out the Bobcat that greeted us on arrival!

You can walk down to the lake from the campground.  We followed the trail that is behind campsites 74 – see map above.
